OneStart is marketed as an AI-powered browser and software hub, offering features like dual-view browsing, a desktop toolbar, a ChatGPT widget, and built-in shopping coupon tools.
Despite its features, MalwareTips reports that OneStart Browser is a potentially unwanted program (PUP) disguised as a Chromium-based browser. They state that "many users are unaware that OneStart gets installed through sneaky bundling tactics, leading it to be labeled as potentially unwanted."
Malwarebytes detects the updater as PUP.Optional.OneStart, describing it as a browser-related program that behaves like adware.

The publisher of an executable is the entity responsible for its distribution and authenticity. Most processes/executables on your PC should be signed. The signature on the executable should have been verified through a third party whose job it is to make sure the entity is who it says it is. Find an unsigned executable? You should consider scanning any completely unsigned .exe on your PC.
